Much of Pakistan’s chaos today can be traced back to two things: entrenched military influence and the dominance of political dynasties, both of which have brought the country to the brink of collapse. To break free from this cycle requires two targeted reforms: a blanket ban on all military and bureaucratic extensions and prohibiting members of the same political family from holding public office.
