War Against Children

The recent Israeli airstrikes in northern Gaza have again flooded social media with horrifying images and videos of death, destruction, and suffering that we’ve been seeing for the last one year, but haven’t and will unlikely get used to.

The images of obliterated children reveal the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of global political leaders who have either actively supported or tacitly approved these crimes against children.

These horrors have been allowed to persist because these children have been 'dehumanized' under a twisted form of 'Realpolitik' that enables supposedly 'democratic' countries to bomb the lives out of children in some of the poorest regions.

One wonders if this is driven by sheer hate and bigotry, or if Gaza has become an experimental ground for testing new killing technologies—or perhaps both?
