Trump won last night in what many are calling a ‘shocking’ victory, but my readers here are probably neither shocked nor surprised.
For last 2 months and especially last 2 weeks our AI model (3rd Eye) was predicting this result with high level of certainty, even at a time when I was reached out by well wishers who told me that I’ve put my entire credibility and career on line.
Good thing that I don’t have a traditional ‘career’ to worry about but yes credibility was definitely at stake, given that all major polls including non-traditional ones like Nate Silver were favouring Kamala. That’s when I decided to rely more deeply on our methodology and framework and keep testing myself and the AI model for confirmation bias.
But frankly, the level of accuracy is something even I wasn't expecting. Our AI model accurately predicted the election down to the percentage level of each swing state, which even the Polymarket wasn’t able to do.
The goal for us was to test the new methodology and framework that we developed to train AI to capture the real-time public pulse. This largely stemmed out of my annoyance with traditional polling and survey agencies that either rigged their results in favour of the highest bidder or hadn't updated the 60’s era ‘survey panel’ methodology in 2024.
Our AI model has now predicted with absolute accuracy 4 elections world wide. This fundamentally changes the very concept of ‘polling’ and ‘survey’ which has been my interest over the years.
In the next few days, to serve public good, I will open to public our framework (secret sauce) so that everyone is able to use it to understand the political and social environment in order to defend themselves from media and ‘polling’ manipulation.
Thank you for reading and being part of the elections journey with me.
Well done. Your data was meaningful and I had no doubts Trump would win. Here's hoping 3rd eye gets more recognition.
I'm really impressed by the predictions by your model. I for one was not convinced that Trump would win so I was curious to see how your model would hold up against election results. Great analysis - I look forward to seeing more from third eye.
